
Arms of the City of Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. The Lozengy Field denotes the Coal mined in the Area. The Arrow denotes the Nanticoke Indian Tribe. The Crest symbolises the cooperation between the City's inhabitants the Wreath shows the State Flower of Pennsylvania - Mountain Laurel. The Arms was created in the Year of the 200th Anniversary of the USA and approved by the City Council on 17 May 1976. The Designers was Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Winiarczyk and Mr Richard Crossett.
