Thanks for the information regarding the URS. Here are som more Unit Arms:

Armorial Bearings of the Traffic Grouping, not the best heraldry perhaps but it certainly tells the Role of the Grouping. Perhaps a Heraldic First for a Biker's Helmet?

Image
Armorial Bearings of the Protection and Security Service.

Chris Green wrote:The lozenge inescutcheon of the Cavalry Squadron is highly unusual, though there are several instances of lozenges used in civic heraldry in Aragon.

In Spanish civic heraldry, it's not precisely a lozenge, but a rotated square. It's called "escut caironat" i.e. tile-shaped, flagstone-shaped escutcheon. It seems to be recommended for civic heraldry by an international heraldic meeting held in Rome, in 1958, but I'm clueless about such meeting.

I have not heard about such a recomendation either Leonardo Almedia. and if there was such a thing it has not been followed to any extent.

Now some more Guardia Civil Heraldry.
