Re: DARs Completed in 2018
This crown is sometimes also described as an eastern crown but they are the same. I just wondered if the armiger would have preferred the description Eastern Crown because Greece is geographically east of Wales.

Martin,
I asked that and she indicated that the term "ancient" seemed better to her due to Greece's long history. Did not seem to care for "Eastern" as much.

"... "ancient" seemed better to her due to Greece's long history. ..."
Some fallout from classical Greece perhaps?
I vaguely recall the phrase "long and bloody wars" from my school-days. (Sadly, apart from the then forbidden expletive, nothing else sticks.)

Pritchard is quite nice!
In the blazon, "...between to Wings..." - "to" should be "two"

Re: DARs Completed in 2018
Does one need to describe katanas as Japanese?

Re: DARs Completed in 2018
Unless "katana" is listed in several heraldic dictionaries (AFAIK it isn't) it's likely that many heraldic artists would have a clue...

Re: DARs Completed in 2018
I mean are there any katanas that aren't Japanese?
