In line with similar posts on the Presidents of various countries; does anyone have any information regarding what arms the Presidents of Iceland have borne; if any?

Vigdís Finnbogadóttir who served as the fourth President of Iceland from 1980 to 1996.

Kristján Eldjárn (1916-1982) President 1968-80 used: "Azure a star of eight point Or and in chief a Fire steel Argent. No Motto.
Ásgeir Ásgeirsson (1894-1972), President 1952-68 used "Tierced per pale Azure, Gules and Vert, the Gules field charged with a Latin Cross Or (or maybe Argent) the three upper arms bottony and the lower one fitchy. Motto "Carpe Diem".

The blazon is " Azure, a pile and terrace arched conjoined Argent, overall a terrace in base Gules", or possibly "aAzure, in base Gules, a Thor's Hammer throughout Argent.' Motto: 'Vires Icelandiae' (Latin: 'Strength of Iceland')
