In 1936 there was a proposal for greater Arms of Finland. Note that the Crown didn't symbolise that Finland had become a Kingdom. It was used as a Symbol of Sovereignity. The proposal was not approved.

Any reason it wasn't approved? also, I realize that I don't like reguardant supporters.

The sad answer Ryan is that i don't know why it wasn't approved. Perhaps It was deemed that a greater Arms wasn't needed after all.
