Is that an armillary sphere?

Given that the "latitude" lines converge, possibly not, but since an armillary sphere is merely a sphere made of rings that could represent anything terrestrial or celestial, then it probably is.

Very simple, attractive arms (both personal & diocese). The sphere (if that's what it is,) is unusual and therefore distinctive without cluttering the design.
