So the "Tunica Or" (yellow jersey) went to Britain's Chris Froome - again, and the "Tunica Argent" (for best young rider) to Adam Yates, also of Britain. Well done both. Well done also to the winner of the "Tunica Vert" (points winner) Peter Sagan of Slovakia and the "Tunica semy of Torteaux" (best climber) Rafal Majka of Poland.

Yes, indeed, thank you, Chris. It's an excellent illustration of how heraldry is practised in France, and how national characteristics have developed over the centuries, not only in design but in blazoning.
