Anjou, Azure three Fleu-de-Lys Or all within a Brodure Gules.

Artois, Azure semee the Lys Or a Label Gules of three points all charged with three Towers Or.

Alsace. Per Pale Gules A bend sinister between two ribands sinister fleury (unsure if this is the correct term) all Argent and Gules a Bend between six Crowns all Or. Combindes the Arms of Basse Alsace (Lower Alsace) with those of Haute-Alsace (Upper Alsace).

Champange, the French blason is

D’azur à une bande d’argent, accompagnée de deux cotices doubles d’or, potencée et contre-potencée en dedans. Azure a Bend Argent between two ? Or.

Comtat Venaissin, Gules two Keys in saltire Or, bound Azure. The Keys alludes to tha fact that this Province was a Papal possession 1277-1791.

Comté de Nice (County of Nice), Argent a Crowned Eagle Gules standing on three Rocks Sable issuant from a base wavy Azure.

Comté de Foix, Or three Pales Gules. The Counts of Foix was once joint Ruler of Andorra thogether with the Bishop of Urgel. The Counts later died out and their lands and Rights to Andorra was inherited by the King of France. Today the President of France hold this right as Co-Prince of Andorra. As a reminder of this the Arms of Andorra still includes the Foix Arms.

Dauphiné, Quarterly I. and IV. Azure three Fleur de Lys Or, II. and III. Or a Dolphin Azure finned Gules. The Dolphin is canting and the Fleur de Lys symbolises the King of France. Which in 1349 aquired the Province on contition amongst others that the Heir apperent to the Throne of France henceforth should be named Dauphin. This is a name of Saxon origin which the Ruler of Dauphiné had used since 1110.

Franche-Comté, Azure semee of billets Or a Lion rampant crowned Or armed Gules.

Gascogne, Quartely I. and IV. Azure a Lion rampant Argent, II. and III. Gules a sheaf of wheat Or bound Azure. This was the Home Province of d'Artagnan of the Three Musketeers.
