Giuseppe Saragat (1898-1988) President of Italy 1964-71. Was awarded the Swedish Order of the Seraphim on his State Visit to Sweden in 1966. He chose to dispaly the Insignia of the Republic of Italy on his Stall Plate.

President Giovanni Leone was, I am aware, awarded the Order of the Elephant by the Queen of Denmark; do you know if he ever adopted Arms to be used on his stallplate?
