Engineer and Signal Units had Colours of the same general pattern, as they have the same origins. The Colours are Blue with three yellow Crowns in the middle and the Unit's Coat of Arms in the upper inner Corner.

Image
Kungl. Svea ingenjörsregemente (Royal Svea Engineer Regiment) (Ing 1), the Colour was presented in Stockholm by HM King Gustaf V on 26 September 1935 as was the Colours of Ing 2 and Ing 3. Originated in 1855 as the Sappörkompnaiet (Sapper Company), becoming in 1893 the Kungl. Svea ingenjörsbataljon (Royal Svea Engineer Battalion) and in 1902 Kungl. Svea ingenjörskår (Royal Svea Engineer Corps). Raised to Regiment on 1 July 1957, it was disbanded in 1997.

Image
Royal Gotha Engineer Regiment (Ing 2). Originated as the Sappörbataljonen (The Sapper Battalion) raised in Stockholm 1871 and moved to Karlsborg in 1875. In 1893 it was named Kungl. Göta ingenjörsbataljon (Royal Gotha Engineer Battalion) and in 1902 as the Kungl. Göta ingenjörskår (Royal Gotha Engineer Corps). On 1 April 1928 the Corps moved to Eksjö, where it on 1 July 1963 became a Regiment and today it is the only Engineer Regiment in the Swedish Army. In August 2006 the Regiment was presented with a new Colour by the then Supreme Commander General Håkan Syrén this replacing the old one and that of the former I 12 (see below). The field is now black which is the Engineer Arm of Service Colour, but the Crowns and the regimental Arms are the same. Along the upper border of the field is placed the Battle Honours of the I 12, as Ing 2 is keeper of the traditions of this Regiment. On this Battle honour stripe can also be seen the Crossbow carrying Lion form the I 12 Colours. Below the new Colour is paraded, picture from http://sv.wikipedia.org/

Kungl. Norra smålands regemente (Royal North Småland Regiment) (I 12), the Colour was presented in Eksjö by HM King Gustaf VI Adolf on 11 September 1954. The Lion denotes the former Kungl. Kalmar regemente (Royal Kalmar Regiment) (I 21) and the Castle issuing from the waves the former Kungl. Jönköpings regemente (Royal Jönköping Regiment) (I 12). These two Regiments was amalgamated in 1928, and was known until 1 July 1948 as the Kungl. Jönköping-Kalmar regemente (Royal Jönköping-Kalmar Regiment). Following disbandment of I 12 on 1 July 2000 the Colour was handed to the Ing 2 Regiment, which also is based in Eksjö.

Service (Sw. Träng) Units where granted Colours showing the Lesser Arms of Sweden in circle form emitting rays lika a Sun. In the Canton was placed the Unit Symbol. I guess we begin to see a pattern in itself here - Units other than Infantry, Cavalry and Armour have a general pattern with a distinguishing symbol in the Canton.

Image
Kungl. Svea trängregemente (Royal Svea Train Regiment) (T 1), the Colour was presented on 1 September 1935 by the Commander of the Eastern Army Division Lieutenant-General Gösta Lillehöök. T 1 originated as the Kungl. Trängbataljonen (The Royal Train Battalion) raised on 1 January 1885. In 1891 it became the Kungl. Svea trängbataljon (Royal Svea Train Battalion) and in 1904 the Kungl. Svea trängkår (Royal Svea Train Corps). In October 1907 moved from Stockholm to Örebro and in 1927 to Linköping which was to be the home of T 1 for the rest of its existence. This move accounts for the use of the Griffin with Dragon wings and tail from the Arms of Östergötland (Linköping beeing th seat of administration for the county of Östergötland). On 1 July 1949 it was raised to a Regiment which in 1985 was reduced to a Battalion and made part of the I 4 Regiment. Made independent again in 1994 as the Svea trängkår (Svea Train Corps), which was disbanded in 1998.

Image
Kungl. Göta trängregemente (Royal Gotha Train Regiment) (T 2), the Colour was presented on 1 September 1935 by the commander of the Western Army Division Major-General Lennart Lilliehöök. The Lion is yellow and are used by Units named Göta (Gotha). T 2 originated as the Kungl. Göta trängbataljon (Royal Gotha Train Battalion) raised in 1891. Moved from Stockholm to Karlsborg in May 1892. In 1904 it become the Kungl. Göta trängkår (Royal Gotha Train Corps) and in September 1905 moved from Karlsborg to Skövde where it still remains. On 1 July 1949 the Corps was raised to a Regiment which since 2000 is the only Train Regiment in the Swedish Army. Since 2007 T 2 is known as the Trängregementet (The Train Regiment) following increased role to also supporting the Navy and the Air Force.

Image
The new Colour presented to the Train Regiment in September 2007. The Sword in the Canton is chosen to represent that the Regiment serves the whole Defence Forces.

Kungl. Norrlands trängregemente (Royal Norrland Train Regiment) (T 3), the Colour was presented by the C.in.C. of the Army Lieutenant-General count T. C:son Bonde on 10 September 1961. The Reindeer is white and represent Norrland the northern part of Sweden. T 3 originated as the Kungl. norrlands trängbataljon (Royal Norrland Train Battalion) raised in 1893. moved from Stockholm to Sollefteå in maj 1898. In 1902 it become the Kungl. Norrlands trängkår (The Royal Norrland Train Corps), which was raised to a Regiment on 1 July 1949. In 1994 the Regiment was reduced to a Corps which in 2000 was merged into the I 5 as the Norrlands trängbataljon (The Norrland Train Battalion) which was disbanded in 2005.

The various Schools also have Colours of different patterns in many instances mirroring the School Armorial Bearings.

Image

Image

The two other Military Academies has Colours of the same Pattern as above only with different Field Colours and with out the 1792 inscription.

The National Defence Academy has a Colour based on the School arms on a blue field a Sword within a Oakleaf wreath all yellow. This is based on a personal inspection of the said Colour, but I do not know when the Colour was presented.

Image
National NBC-Defence Centre, presented at the Stockholm Artillery Yard by the then Supreme Commander General Owe Wiktorin on 30 april 1996. The Colour is based on the Arms of the Centre showing the Dragon an international symbol of NBC-fighters.

In 1994 there was created three Maintenance Regiments Northern, Central and Southern corresponding to the three Military Areas of the time. They where granted Colours based on those of the Train Regiments, their nearest decendants. But instead of placing the Regimental symbol in the Canton it was placed in the Center of the Sunburst.

Image
Colour of the Mellersta underhållsregementet (the Central Maintenance Regiment). The Regiment was raised 1 July 1994 and disbanded on 31 December 2001, when the Maintenance Regiments was merged into the Försvarsmaktens logistik (Defence Forces Logistics).

Image
Södra underhållsregementet (The Southern Maintenace Regiment), which had the same lifespan as the Central Maintenance Regiment.

I have not been able to find any picture or information regarding the Colour of the Norra underhållsregementet (the Northern Maintenance Regiment). But it would had have the same general appearence but with a Reindeer and a Star all Argent on a field Azure.
