As flags, almost all these are atrocious.

When Czechoslovakia broke apart, part of the deal was that neither successor state would use the Czechoslovak flag.

Here's the Czechoslovakian flag:

And here's the flag of the Czech Republic:

I fully anticipate that much the same will happen in the UK in case the Scots vote for independence.

The two flags look the same to me. So what is it that you are anticipating?
That there will be no change if the Scots vote for independence?

5.25 Million people (including a good percentage of Poles and Portuguese) will get a vote and a say this year. The 55+ million that are left get no vote, no say and tellingly no information. If the yes vote is successful, then full devolution will be in force by 2016.

But,

On the first of January 2017, the Union Flag, as is, will still be our national flag.
