I am looking forward to the receipt of my new banner commissioned from Xavier d'Andeville and winging its way to me as I write.

Xavier d'Andeville? Who he?

OK I've googled him. Dare one ask how much the banner cost?

Size 1.20m x 1.20m cost 140 euros or, with postage, 150 euros. And of course because it is from Europe ther is no import duty (unlike the USA). Prices may vary depending upon the complexity of the design. it has to be admitted that mine is relatively simple.

Perhaps when you take delivery Martin you can let us know the clarity of the reverse side. The ones I had done from Caberdancer in the USA were fine, but the one from Mr Flag was appalling the reverse was only about 70% visible and not the 95% they quoted.

I have no idea how you estimate clarity as a percentage but the reverse just looks slightly faded in colour when compared to the printed side. The charges are perfectly discernible. Perhaps if I had images of your two banners to compare I might be able to say whether mine is nearer to one than the other?

I am green with envy  I have a one sided indoor banner but I have yet to negotiate an outdoor one.
