Some personal arms from Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is one of the few African countries with an official heraldic register. The register is kept in the Patents Office, and applications are scrutinised by a panel of heraldically knowledgeable people, who recommend whether or not the arms should be registered.
Here are a few registered arms, extracted from the (unofficial) Armorial of Zimbabwe and Rhodesia which was compiled by the Heraldry & Genealogy Society of Zimbabwe in 2001.
He was honorary colonel of the Rhodesian Special Air Service Regiment. Presumably the winged swords are derived from the SAS capbadge.
The flame lily is the national flower.
He was an air force officer, which no doubt explains the design of his arms.
He was an officer in the Zimbabwe Republic Police (formerly British SA Police). Blue and gold are the police colours; the lion clearly comes from the police capbadge.
Some of the blazons might have been written in other terms. Would anyone like to suggest alternative wording?
