Just wondered: has anyone here registered their pre-existing arms or been granted arms by this heraldic authority?

A couple of years ago, on the old IAAH message board, a member discussed his experience in registering his American(?) arms at the Kenya CoA. IIRC, the process was very slow - it took a few years - and all he got was a letter confirming that his arms had been registered.

I guess you get what you pay for. If I read it correctly and the fee is only 5000 Kenyan Shillings that is only £36.39 or $57.08 (US) or Euro (sorry don't have the symbol on my keyboard) 42.17!

According to the text of the act; it is 5,000 Kenyan Shillings to register existing arms, and 10,000 Kenyan Shillings for a grant.

That's still far below the basic application fee for Scotland, Canada, Ireland, or the College.
