Yes it gives a unique tuch. The Badges of the Indian Air Force also uses a brodure of Lotus Flowers, but a bit different in form from the Navy collegues.

INS Viraat, an Aircraft Carrier (formerly HMS Hermes) to be decomissioned in 2016 and replaced by a Indian built Aircraft Carrier.
