Arms of the Landeswohlfahrtsverband (LWV) Hessen

The LWV Hessen is a association of Hessian Municipalities who joined together to manage Hessianwide Social Services like Mental Health Care and War Invalid Care. The Arms are a combination of the Striped Hessian Lion and the Golden Lion of Nassau. The old Principality of Nassau is today part of the State of Hesse. Picture from Wikimedia.
