Quarterion Eagle

Postby Ryan Shuflin » 14 Jun 2013, 00:56

I am sure you have all seen this before. Is it commonly called the coat of arms of the Holy Roman Empire. Really is it just a selection of shields arranged in 14 groups of 4. At the top are the 7 electors plus Rome (which interestingly is a cross). I think the other groups are arranged vertical each being on a feather. Most are cities, but there are also duchies, marches and landgraviates.
