Indeed. Something for everyone. The difficulty, I discovered, was limiting my choice. I had to do some pruning eventually.

Also the International Society of Commoners Heraldry (don't know the URL - actually, I didn't know FB groups have their own URLs - I just go into Facebook and search; once you join one, it just comes up on your Group's list. I'm already in all but one of the FB groups listed so for in this thread.)

I find the International Society of Commoners rather amusing; many, including the group's founder, are quite proud of the fact that they have amassed a number of titles from spurious sources including the likes of Sealand and one even goes so far as to believe that he is a Serene Highness of his own fantasy "feudal" creation and has succeeded in gathering about him a number of sycophants. Somewhat ironic considering the name of the group!
I can't view it anymore as I have been blocked by the founder who does not appreciate my sense of humour.

Re: Heraldic Facebook Groups
Martin - there is a group of Admins and Moderators who oversee the Commoners Heraldry forum on Facebook and control what arms are imcluded in our Members Arms roll (which is free) and the related Certificates (nominal charge) for thiose who want one.
Folks can post pretty much whatever they want on the forum, for comment and critique by others - some are, as you say, quite OTT, but everyine has to start somewhere... But merely posting "my arms" (from whatever source, we don't care) or proposing new arms, doesn't guarantee a spot on our Members Arms roll - there is often a prolomged discussion and modification, either publicly on the forum itself and/or by PM with one or more of the Admins/Moderators - before a proposal is accepted and added to the Members Arms roll (which includes only the shield) or a Certificate showing the full achievement (but only in a form appropriate for a Commoner - no crowns or nobiliary coronets, no supporters, no "Orders" - even if the individual is entitled to them in his/her own country).
I don't know (and wouldn't discuss publicly if I did know) why you were blocked. The most common reason is when someone blocks one of our Adniins or Moderators - that's common practice on several Facebook forums.
