British Heraldic Conference in August 2016

Greetings all,

The following quote is from the article about the Heraldry Society's award to Worcester (in a recent thread) -

The award, which will be presented in February 2016 at the Heraldic Society Lunch in London, is perfectly timed as the University of Worcester is due to host the British Heraldic Conference in August 2016.

Does anyone have any details about the conference they can share. This is the first notice I have come across.

I wrote to the university -

Dear Sirs,

I have read that the University of Worcester is due to host the British Heraldic Conference in August 2016.

Is this true? If so, can you please direct me to any further information.

And received this reply -

Good Afternoon Chas,

Thank you for your enquiry. Our Conferencing team are currently in discussion with John Tunesi about the British Heraldic Conference.

Details are still yet to be confirmed, however, should you need any more information, I would recommend contacting the society on one of the emails suggested on the website http://www.theheraldrysociety.com/contact.htm

I believe more information will be given out shortly by the society.

The Glasgow Congress website has been up and calling for papers for almost a year. I really can't see how the Heraldry Society can expect people to turn up to their event a week after an international one, considering there is no formal announcement yet.
