I intend to register International Heraldry Day as a "National Heraldry Day" in the US on an online registration hoping to get both International Heraldry Day some more traction and heraldry another bit of publicity in the US.
I wonder if other countries have similar "registrations" online that other members would like to explore in their country.

Re: International Heraldry Day Registration as a National Day
There seems to be a similar organisation in the UK, though the term is "National Awareness Day":
http://www.national-awareness-days.com/your-awareness-day/
The first problem with the IAAH getting involved with that is cost: £195. The IAAH has no income from any source. The second is that this may simply be a means of the owners of the site making a few bucks. It is unclear (to me at least) how being registered on their site reaches a wide audience.

Absolute no to this one (national-awareness-days dot com). It is a money making scheme for the website owners; what you are paying for is an advertisement on their site, nothing more.
