Fictional Heraldry

Postby Chris Green » 24 Oct 2012, 07:29

Has anyone watched the TV series "Game of Thrones"? If you have I bet you are confused by who lives where. Try this link (sorry for the childish language in the link!):

I must say that is quite impressive. This fan is either extremely dedicated, or one hell of a geek (and, as a bit of a geek myself, I mean that in a nice way), or both.

Some of the CoAs are good heraldry, perhaps "borrowed" from reality. Others are typical "make-believe" heraldry. Perhaps two or more artists were involved in putting this together.

The majority of the arms are very good heraldry! I wonder who sat down as did them... they must have had at least a cursory knowledge of our art.
