How might we best describe this cross (help required)?

I think it must be a (passion) cross cleché or urdé. Boutell (p50) refers to a version of the pointed cross with the end slightly splayed as well as pointed as cleché or urdé. The small picture (455) of a cross urdy at p365 is close to yours (though yours has an indistinct lump at the bottom).

Assuming that the end of the lower limb is the same as those of the upper limbs, I would say "a Latin cross urdy".

Thanks all. The indistinct lump at the bottom is the same as the other ends, it's actually nestled comfortably in the fur on the head of a stag.
