Arms for a HOA
I am going to take the logo of my Homeowners Association (HOA) and make into an Achievement. I would like a bit of advice; What kind of crest is permissible on shield that's for a business organization? Thank you.

The same as for an esquire.
Sorry, misread the request. You were talking about a crest, I was talking about the helm.
The crest can be anything that seems appropriate, just as for an individual.

Re: Arms for a HOA
As a corporate body, the HOA could have an achievement consisting of shield, crest and motto, with an ordinary tilting helmet and the torse and mantling. Supporters would be excessive for a small private organisation.

Could you post the HOA's logo, or a link to it?

The name of the HOA is Ocean Woods. We are a quarter mile from the beach in Cape Canaveral, FL.
BTW, @ Mr. McCartney; I am the Cameron Campbell that just was allowed to view and post on the AHS's FB site.
Here is the home page,,, not very informative I'm afraid;

The logo has made an excellent start at becoming a coat of arms. The bordure needs perhaps to be a little wider and the waves need a little thought, but it's nearly there.

Ditto Chris - this is a very nice logo!
And with minimal changes, very nice arms.
For that matter, with careful blazoning ( by someone better at it than me!) I think this could be, essentially as is, a somewhat unusual but technically valid heraldic design.

Here is the way the logo looks on our entry gate. As you can see, the vert border is quite narrow, much more narrow than bordure that would perhaps imply cadency of some sort.

Re: Arms for a HOA
Here is the Achievement. I didn't use a wide border and opted for an orle because it was thinner. BTW, I am not an artist. I do not draw well in real life, but I am adept with graphics programs and can "usually" get the effect I want. Thank you for tolerating an amatuer at this.
