So I've got a coat of arms, what shall I do with it?

Having a personal flag, signet ring, and using my COA on formal stationary, my favorite use is embroidered shields on dress shirts and leather jackets.

Embroidering leather? That sounds like a challenging skill. Embossing, painting, decorating with studs, yes, but embroidering? Can you upload a picture?

One of my wife's cousins in Saskatoon has a black leather jacket with the family arms embroidered in full color - but then he owns an embroidery business!

The latest edition of the Swedish Heraldry Society's magazine "Vapenbilden" contains an interesting article about how one may purchase postage stamps with the image of one's choice (one's home, children, coat of arms ....) from the official postal service of Åland (the semi-independent group of islands off SW Finland). They can of course only be used in Åland (or on the ferries that ply between Mariehamn and Stockholm or Helsinki), but you can send, say, a packet of Åland stamped Christmas cards to Åland's post office and they will frank them carefully and post them. The web-site is in English, Swedish, Finnish, German and Russian and ordering is quite simple (I've tried it). The maximum order is 16 stamps.

The US Postal service also has a make your own stamp program.

I have just received my stamps and very impressive they are too. The image is the same as that in my avatar.
