An Appeal to the Membership

Postby Chas Charles-Dunne » 08 Sep 2013, 18:53

Does any member have a current email address for Steven B Madewell? I have the Hotmail address, but that no longer works.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Two links that may be helpful.
http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/phil ... /145?var=1
and
https://pipl.com/directory/name/Madewell/140/

After about 2005, I can find nothing posted by SBM on the web (with a casual search). His usual haunts at rootsweb and ancestry.com simply stop. This suggests death/severe disability, or a desire to go off-the-grid.

The Philmedals site and Madewell genealogy sites are probably your best bet for further research, if you wish to go that deep into the matter. He apparently left IAAH disgruntled.

Thank you, Cameron.

I was aware of both those sites. The name 'Steven B Madewell' seems to be very common in the US and I have eliminated 21 already, but many more to go.

The problem is the time span. In some cases it is over 14 years and people have changed PCs many times over in that time and pruned and edited contact lists.

I was a member when Steven left and disgruntled is, I think, conservative.

Thank you again for your effort.
