XXXI International Congress, Oslo, August 2014

The 31st Congress of Genealogical and Heraldic Sciences will take place in Oslo from 13 to 17 August 2014. In 2014, two major Norwegian jubilees are marked: the Norwegian constitution was enacted at Eidsvoll in 1814, and in addition, Oslo will celebrate its 700th anniversary as capital of Norway. The theme of the congress is: Influence on Genealogy and Heraldry of Major Events in the History of a Nation.

As I live only three hours from Oslo, I hope to be able to attend. It would be great if other members of the IAAH could make the journey, perhaps even give one of the lectures.
