Christmas Heraldry

Postby Martin Goldstraw » 17 Dec 2014, 16:10

I thought I would share this one from the web site of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland.

"Our favourite Christmas card is from Fellow Charles Burnett, Ross Herald Extraordinary, featuring a suggested "Arms for Father Christmas, Knight Grand of the Most Frigid Order of the Crystal Snowflake" Thank you Charles!"

It's my favourite too!

No, but you can't have Christmas without Jesus who is of the House of David.

In any case the arms with the Star of David are not attributed to St. Nicholas, but to Father Christmas.
