Heraldika Blazonoj

Postby Mark Henderson » 07 Nov 2015, 18:03

I am not sure where to post this, but I was wondering if anyone here has any information or experience with blazoning in Esperanto. Just curious, that's all.

Here's as good as anywhere.

No, never come across Esperanto blazons, probably because I don't speak the "lingo". An Esperanto blazon would be easier to understand for an Esperanto speaker than an "English" blazon is for an English speaker with no grounding in heraldry. Indeed newcomers to heraldry could be forgiven for thinking that "English" (Anglo/French) blazon is in fact Esperanto!

I never even considered it, but you're correct in that an Esperanto speaker would understand a blazon better than an English speaker. I suppose the grammar would be the challenging part.
