Arms of Hassan Kamel Kelisli Morali

Postby Mark Henderson » 15 Oct 2021, 21:45

Here are the arms of Hassan Kamel Kelisli Morali. For this work I used some old style features to try for a vintage look.

A very nice rendition, Mark. I like the way that the highlights on the rivets on the helmet look like crescents, to tie in with the crest. What is the symbol on the helmet?

The symbol on the helm is called a "Tamga." You can read more here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamga This Tamga belongs to the armiger.

Thank you for the kind comments.

Thanks for the explanation, Mark. An interesting combination of eastern and western symbolism.
