Some of my Heraldic Work

Postby Marcus Karlsson » 08 Dec 2012, 19:28

Just some Heraldic work I did.

Image
Lesser Arms for the fictive Kingdom of Zernland. I use some fictive countries created by my self just to train my Heraldic imagination.

Image
Province of Pressen in the above mentioned Kingdom.

Some Military Arms of Zernland:

Submarine SMS Seelöwe (Sealion).

Image
Frigate SMS Friedrichsburg. The upper part is from the namegiving City's Arms and the lower part symbolises the Weapon Systems of the Frigate.

As proposal I did for Arms of the Chruch Heraldry Working Group within the Swedish Heraldry Society. The Main composition is based on those of the Society's Arms with addition of Crosses Crosslets. This from of Cross I choose to symbolise that the Group are open to work with all Christian denominations (naturaly the focus so far has been with the Church of Sweden). The Crest shows the Lion from the Arms of the Society tinctured Azure to harmonize with the Shield. The Lion holds a banner with a Mitre to symbolise that much of the Group's Work involves creating Arms for new Bishops.

Marcus something I have wondered about: are the pictures drawn a bit tilted by you or is it the way that they are scanned ?

Ton I guess it could be my drawing that makes the pictures look a bit tilted.
