The Dainava arms illustrate a man-at-arms bearing a small pavise, though how a man-at-arms might have made simultaneous use of both a pavise and a pollaxe is a mystery. The armour also seems rather OTT for a common soldier, though the person represented may I suppose be a knight.
The heraldic artist responsible for Dainava was clearly also the author of the arms of the County of Alytus:
