Re: Some Russian Noble Arms
The arms of the Counts Kleinmichel feature the Winter Palace in St Petersburg. Count Pyotr (1789-1869) was responsible for the rebuilding of the palace after the fire of 1837. Later as Minister of Transport he was responsible for the building of the St Petersburg-Moscow railway. He is supposed to have adopted several of Tsar Nicholas I's illegitimate children.

Re: Some Russian Noble Arms
Well perhaps the Russian Eagle bearing on its chest the monogram of Czar Nikolaj I is a reminder of the later.
