If anyone else has the same problem, the newsletter is available on the College web-site.

The September newsletter is now online.

If you follow the link in the listing for "Greenwich, Borough of" under "Recent Grants of Arms", you should reach the borough's website. If you then follow that website's link to "view the official letters patent", you should reach this page [ http://www.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/downlo ... ember_2012 ] which enables you to download the LPs as a pdf file. They're well worth looking at - real armorial eye candy!

College of Arms Newsletter No 37

Postby Arthur Radburn » 20 Dec 2013, 17:55

The December 2013 newsletter is now online at http://www.college-of-arms.gov.uk/news-grants/newsletter/2012/item/94-december-2013 .

The blazon of the arms of the University of East London contains an interesting detail : rather than blazon a cogwheel as a cogwheel, they call it "an Annulet embattled on the outer edge".

Perhaps they wanted to make sure it was depicted with out cross bars
