I have just received the June edition of the newsletter but all the pictures are "compressed" and invisible. I s anyone else having this problem?

I have got the newsletter too and no problem with the pictures.

If you follow the link in the listing for "Greenwich, Borough of" under "Recent Grants of Arms", you should reach the borough's website. If you then follow that website's link to "view the official letters patent", you should reach this page [ http://www.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/downlo ... ember_2012 ] which enables you to download the LPs as a pdf file. They're well worth looking at - real armorial eye candy!

The blazon of the arms of the University of East London contains an interesting detail : rather than blazon a cogwheel as a cogwheel, they call it "an Annulet embattled on the outer edge".
