The Shield of Lamare is rather Germanic looking, alluding to the Bookmark Arms found for exemple in Germany and Switzerland.

Yes, certainly Germanic looking. The wings in the crest add to that impression. What are "bookmark arms"?

Arms found on Bookmarks that is Ex Libris.
