With regard to my query about Clive Cheesman's talk, I found the seminar brochure at -
http://heraldics2014.files.wordpress.co ... ramme1.pdf
It includes abstracts on each talk. All very interesting!
Yes, Chris, it would be nice if these talks were filmed and uploaded on You Tube.
Also, it would be nice if more advanced notice was given about these seminars and heraldic weekends.
For instance, neither this seminar nor the recent L'Académie Internationale d'Héraldique colloquium were advertised by the Heraldry Society of Scotland despite the presence of the Lyon Court at both and the fact that the L'Académie Internationale d'Héraldique colloquium was in Inverness!

Iain Boyd

It would I think be nice if IAAH members who are members of other heraldic societies could share with us information about their meetings/lectures and any interesting written records or videos of such.

Re: College of Arms Newsletters 2014
Many, many academic institutions use a very similar process. Instead of UTube, they use a closed url, which is only available to password or payment.
There are many ways to do it and the technology is not new. COSCA - The Council Of Scottish Clan Associations holds all its major meetings this way. Beamed live round the world or available to view later.
The College could do this - and make money out of it!
