Irish Surname Meaning
I am trying to find out the original meaning of my name, but have not been able to find anything trustworthy. I thought maybe someone here might know about a good resource for that. Shuflin is a rare name, but I know that my ancestor came from Ireland in 1813.

Re: Irish Surname Meaning
Might this help?

It doesn't help with the meaning of the name, but it provides a reliable source for the Irish origins of two American Shuflins.
